Access for All (AFA), powered by Butterfli, is a state-funded program administered by Los Angeles Metro. The program was launched in 2018, and AFA is designed for individuals who meet specific criteria for a wheelchair-accessible vehicle (WAV) due to a disability that limits their mobility. The program's purpose is to expand and improve on-demand service throughout Los Angeles County, ensuring safe, reliable, and inclusive transportation.
Important updates:
Effective August 1, the AFA service hours have changed to:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: No service

Access for All is an on-demand assisted transportation program that provides rides to individuals who require a wheelchair-accessible vehicle (WAV) to accommodate their large mobility devices, such as wheelchairs. Butterfli’s service operates in specific Zip Codes within Los Angeles County. Please check the website, AFA page for the Zone and Zip Code information.

The cost is $2.00 for a one-way ride and $4.00 for a round-trip ride.

The call center operates with a live operator during service hours. After service hours, you can reach a recorded message for more information at 855- 301-1624.

You can use the service to travel within the program's boundaries, Zones 1, 2, 3 and 4. You can go within a 12-mile radius of your originating location as long as it is within the Service Zone.

You can use the service up to 12 times per month. 6 round trips or 12 one-way rides.

Yes. You must qualify by confirming the use of a wheelchair, other mobility device, or a need for assisted transportation.

Yes. You may bring one companion or a service animal with you.

The drivers are not required to assist with packages. Please limit your packages to what you or someone at your location can assist with.
