Access for All (AFA) is a state-funded program administered by Metro in Los Angeles County. Launched in 2018, AFA was designed to make ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft more accessible for people with disabilities, including those who need wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAVs). The program’s purpose is to expand and improve on-demand WAV service across California, ensuring safe, reliable, and inclusive transportation for everyone.

Access for All is a program that provides assisted transportation to individuals who need a wheelchair-access vehicle (WAV) to accommodate limited mobility or other limitations. The service operates in several zones in Los Angeles County.

The cost is $2.00 for a one-way ride and $4.00 for a round-trip ride.

The call center operates with a live operator during service hours. After service hours, you can reach a recorded message for more information at 855- 301-1624.

You can use the service to travel within the program's boundaries, Zones 1, 2, 3 and 4. You can go within a 12-mile radius of your originating location as long as it is within the Service Zone.

You can use the service up to 12 times per month. 6 round trips or 12 one-way rides.

Yes. You must qualify by confirming the use of a wheelchair, other mobility device, or a need for assisted transportation.

Yes. You may bring one companion or a service animal with you.

The drivers are not required to assist with packages. Please limit your packages to what you or someone at your location can assist with.
